today is the day that I…cooked!

I was feeling like chopping and cutting and cooking today…so I did. I made quite a simple dish – yakisoba. Basically, it’s Japanese for “fried noodles”. I bought the noodles and sauce in a Japanese grocery shop in my town, and just added a few more ingredients to make it merrier! And tadaaaa…..here it is:

my very own yakisoba, with aonori on top, carrots, cabbage, mussels, pork, and chillies!!

I sort of followed an online recipe by cookingwithdog. Definitely check it out if you have the time. It provides quite comprehensive and easy Japanese recipes, although some of the ingredients may be difficult to find outside Japan.

p.s. My noodles tasted yummy!!! But I didn’t make the sauce so I guess it wasn’t exactly because I’m a good cook that it tasted good lol.

it’s time to jump into the real world!!

I received my uni results today…I got what I wanted so I’m really happy about that. But this also means that I must stop being a bum. lol.

I have always dreamed of securing a job before I graduate, but thanks to the recession (and perhaps also lack of effort from my part), here I am; a graduate with a decent degree from a pretty good uni I’d say, still looking for a job. -_-”. Geez…life is hard.

Well, I’d come here from time to time in between my job search…maybe to rant about how hard it is to get a job lol.

the road to self-destruction

I’ve been waking up past noon everyday. Not that I want to but simply because I can’t get up earlier. I need a motivation to get out of bed. I’ve been thinking maybe Mc Donald’s pancake breakfast will take me out of the house before 10.30. FAIL.

I spend the rest of the afternoon watching stuff in the internet and eating. I need to do something soon, or rather find something to do soon.

When I finally go bed it’s 2 am. But really, how can one sleep for 12 hours everyday? I’m turning into a sloth…

and so it begins…

To be honest, I don’t understand how or why people blog. So I’ve decided to give it a try. Coz you’ll never know until you try.

I’ve put off trying to blog for a long time but now that I have ABSOfrigginLUTELY nothing to do, I decided that today would be my zeroth birthday as a blogger. But just like in the real world, who knows how long I’ll live for in the blogger world as a blog-being…

I think that’s enough introduction for now and I’m starting to get really sick of the word “blog”. lol
